Rain rain?

The issue is, I have another car to drive. Plus I watch the road and all the mud and muck and think, ugh. I worry that the crud on the road ends up below my car, then in my hardware and in my car's vital organs. The winter salt is long off the road, but still I hesitate.
So it's really up to the user after all, but I couldn't agree more, who the heck AM I saving it for, if not for me?

Living in the Seattle Washington area there is no choice but to drive in the rain - or consider your Porsche an investment property in your garage. Seattle, and many places other the Lost Angels... is exactly what Porsche had in mind when the created the C4.
Yomi - if you where on the Club Wine tour in Walla Walla along with a whole bunch from Western WA, last weekend you likely saw rain and snow and hail ...and a bit of sun. And you may have seen the 3 to 5$ Million in Italian hardware that also drove in the rain along with the 50 Porsches. Quite a display of expensive automobilia - and all of it very WET!

I've got the back-up for mud and snow. But the rain never stops me from using the 996. I love driving that freakin' car. I try to drive the Cayenne about once a week in the summer, and the 996 once a week in the winter.
