Honestly I thought I'd never get to be one of the guys posting a thread like this. After years of lust, I finally decided that I was going to drive a 911 and no one could change my mind.
I found one slightly higher than my budget but it was well worth it.
Picked up a 2003 C4S with PSE in Houston with 29k miles and I have been unable to wipe the **** eating grin off of my face from the time I wake up until I go to bed for the last 3 days The exhaust note of the PSE is so incredible I've never heard anything like it!
I've never been so satisfied with a vehicle purchase. I have always had buyers remorse buying cars, even cars I liked. Not this time. Not one single bit!
Sorry I'm rambling...every time I get out of the car I feel like I just had 5 cups of coffee.
I'll post better pics at some point but it is stock so it isn't anything you guys haven't seen before. Yes I know the pumpkins have to go!

welcome; looks sharp with the Technos!

Congratulations. Looks like a nice car. The other malady that you will develop, besides the continuous grin on your face, is the necessity to always walk backwards after you have parked the car. I've had mine for 4 months or so, and I still walk backwards half way to my destination. It, of course, requires a longer walk because I park it so far away from wherever I am going.
ENJOY!!!

Welcome to the asylum where it's good to be crazy. Great looking car!
What other options do you have other than PSE (probably the best option IMO) and the Technos (another great option)?
I'm am option *****. There's nothing that depresses me like opening the trunk lid ona 996 and not finding any Xs on the option code list.
The frist car I looked at was a Arena red 99 coupe "wit nothin" I passed.

I used that VIN decoder online. It seems pretty accurate. I removed a bunch of crap that seems pretty standard:

As someone else put it when I posted my welcome message, "Welcome to the C4S brotherhood!"
I still have the pumpkins on my car. One of these days I'll do it.
PSE is a great option -- it sold me on the car. Since I plan on driving mine in the winter I'm going to like the heated seats, but the other 8 months it doesn't mean anything (and depends on where you live). I wouldn't mind an aerokit, X-51, or X-73 option, but I think I'm going to leave it alone and put my money in an account marked "GT3" instead. The C4S is great for now serving DD duty, especially while all three kids still fit in it.
