Anyone just enjoy them as they are?

Mine is a really early '99 manufactured in March of 1998. It's bone stock with chromed factory 17" rims and an iPod adapter. Still has the original mint condition floor mats - 55K miles.

No mods yet. The mufflers were drilled when I got it two weeks ago, but found a stock muffler cheap and had them switched.
It's CPO'd so I have to be careful not to screw up my warranty. I do plan to upgrade the nav/stereo in a couple of weeks. I need my ipod. Next will be the SSK.
I will probably also look at a suspension upgrade if I can take some of the harshness out without affecting the handling.
Other than that, I think it's probably fast enough for street use.

Funny how our cars are now considered old school and retro! Time waits for no one!
Mine is stock, except for some minor upgrades: painted rear bumper pads, clear side markers, console cubbys replacing the CD rack and ash tray, and a new stereo head unit.

Aside from the Fister D's, SSK, Double Din Nav/Radio I would say all my other mods are factory parts thus... stock ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Like the painted console, thicker 3 spoke wheel, clear side markers..etc.
I guess it what you define as "stock"
For me, once you change anything... Non factoy Radio, aftermarket wheels...whatever. No longer "stock"
New non-stock mod coming soon!

I've been thinking about this question and about why I make modifications. The best I can figure is that I'm trying to recreate that first fantastic rush of driving the car. From what I've heard, heroine is like that.
