The car passed PPI at Dan Jacobs to the new owner's satisfaction. Car is sold pending funds.

Congrats! Is the car staying local, or moving to a new state? When I get home from my business trip I'll have to post some photos of it from my archive.

So whe. Does the turbo arrive?

Thanks Wayne! Car will be making a road trip down to Florida. The Rennlister has owned 2 996s before. I will let him introduce himself.

Turbo is getting PPI done at RUF Dallas tomorrow and will try to get it trucked up here as soon as I hear results tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks Jim! I am going to miss my aero. I spent a good amount of time modding her and learning about that car. I will miss the little things like where I put the manual frunk release.

Thanks Steve. I think I may have priced it too low but I felt that since my turbo is purchased at a good price, good karma should be passed around. I even had a potential buyer offer me $1K more after a PPI was scheduled to have an opportunity at the car.

Hi Carey,

You got that right and its only Tuesday... This all started hopping on Rennlist after feeding the baby Saturday night at 10PM. If I was out with my wife Saturday night and no baby, then it would be another boring week. I think selling a 996 in 24 hrs on Rennlist is some kind of a record.

Note to self: Give my kid credit on keeping me at home but since I change his diapers. Its a wash?

When is your 3.8 going to be ready? You guys don't have a "Winter down time."

Good going, Chao!

That's a beautiful 993 you're getting and congratulations on the quick sale of the aero.

Do you know where in FL your car is going? If it's in the panhandle, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Its most likely a wash...

The engine cases returned from LN on Friday. All the parts are prepped and ready... the motor is being built this week! Not having the car for 4 months has been tough but once I show up at the next DE with the sleeper 4S it will all be worth it. Good luck with the turbo, that is one beautiful car... pure class.

Excellent! I'm actually in Orlando right now.

I'll keep my fingers crossed on the ppi? Btw, I agree that you priced it low, but you moved it quickly and sometimes you need to do that too.
