I have the Gateway 500 in my car and did a complete writeup on the install with pics. I absolutely love it. I think the only difference between the 500 and the light is you have to buy the iPod cable separately and it also have no aux-in which was a must for me. I have my iPod hooked up direct with the iPod cable and my sat radio via the aux-in. The sound is fantastic with the iPod since it is a line level direct connection.

Sure thing. PM sent (and posted here as well)

LINK

And yes, it takes the place of a CD changer but you don't lose it. There is a switch on the unit that allows you to switch between the Dension and the Cd changer.

same here, very happy with the mod, very easy to do,
I also have a writeup on renntech
the interface to control playlist and stuff is a bit tought as you need to learn what each button does but I simply leave mine on random play and have a dedicated ipod in the trunk area so I don't have to worry the control part.

I love my Denison 500. Both the iPod and USB work great. I'm using the aux-in for xm radio. LVDELL's write up is excellent. Haven't listened to AM/FM or a CD since I installed the Denison. I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy the Gateway Lite.
