Very easy fix... You will need a T-20 Tamper Proof Torx tool to remove, easy!

Welcome back and congrats on the treatment. The MAF is a piece of cake to change, you can do it yourself in less than 15min. Does your car have E-Gas or not? I probably have both units at my shop, I sell quite a few MAF's. Good luck!

E-Gas, not sure. I have a 2000 C4.

I do have a T-20 Tamper Proof Torx - that's something!

Having the T-20 is a good start! You can look at your current one and write down the part number:

996.606.124.00 with E-Gas
996.606.123.00 without E-Gas

I can also tell you by your VIN # if it came with E-Gas or not.

Welcome back indeed. Fix your MAF with a replacement and enjoy the ride. It is simple to do.

Great to hear that you are doing well!!!

Like others have said, you should not have a problem replacing these items yourself, even if you are not a serious DIYer.

Best of luck to you with the conclusion of your treatments as well as with the car.
