Rear tires for 996.2
I am looking for new tires for my 996 Targa.
The new Michelin SuperSports arrive in about a month and they look like a very attractive proposition - they are well priced too.
However they do not come in 285/30/18, which is the right size for the rears?
Would you recommend against getting 265/35/18 (which was the stock size for the 996 until '01) or 275/35/18 for the rears?
The fronts would remain the same at 225/40/18.

Unfortunately they don't come in 295/30/18.

285/30/18 R, 225/40/18 F.
