Default No TP

No, not a personal problem...I'm having an issue with my radio.

Last night after I turned on the radio - CDR-23 - the display showed NO TP. I could not change stations with the pre-set buttons. I turned off the radio, waited a bit, and turned it back on. The FM radio station was displayed, but the audio was from my CD. I changed bands to AM and everything worked fine. I switched back to FM and all seemed okay.

I've had this happen once in the past, but can't figure out what the cause is. I'm hoping it is not an indication that the radio is going. If anyone has any thoughts, I would be very appreciative.

Thanks in advance - Sumner

I had that show up once or twice. Same cure.
I've also had the problem/symptom in the recent thread below:

My gut says its the CDR23 radio, as the thread below, but my dealer thinks it might be the amplifier.

Thanks for the info. I had seen that thread, but the problem described had seemed much more extensive than what I experienced. I was hoping I had inadvertently screwed up a setting or something and there was an easy fix.

Oh well.
