Default Does the 1999 Carrera S actually exist?

I'm so confused so where better to come for realistic info. I have been checking out ads etc and came across a 99 Carrera S cabriolet close to home. 55000km & $26k. But I can't find specs anywhere. I see lots mentioned in texts but never any details. I will appreciate any help & guidance you guys can give.

Nope. Only model options were Coupe and Cab in 2 and 4 wheel drive choices. Europe got the GT3 but it never made it over here. The GT3 also got the Club sport option.

The "S" in the ad is for "S"ucker.

I know where you can get an "S" badge to stick on the back.

only way you could possibly call a 996 an "S" Unoffically thats if it has the "X51" Power Kit or if you Swaped a 997 3.8L in there

but i still wont put a "S" Badge on my 996 (non 4S) even if i had the a X51 or 3.8L... id put a "996 3.8" or "996 X51" badge

PS: Mike_UCR, im in Mississauga sswell 10 & Eglinton... your better of posting this in Canada section, somone on there probaly already knows this car...

Hey Zookie:
Not too far from me. I'm at Erin Mills & Burnhamthorpe.
Car was listed on Kijiji and is in Oakville.

Thanks everyone for confirming my thoughts. I'm tempted to go see it to find out exactly what it is. When I asked about the "S", the current owner said more horsepower & bigger brakes. Sounds like the car was just ahead of its time!!

this one?

Way too much $$$$$ for 1999 with 55k miles US Car... its not even a Canadian Car... shop around... if i were you id Shop in the US and bring a car over

You can get get a 2001 with Similar Mileage from the US for 25-30k

Have you looked at these Rennlist Members Cars? Both are in your Price Range

no what i meant was. Local cars are worth more than US cars here... People bring up US cars and Ask Canadian Money for it when you can buy a better car in the US and bring it up for the same $$$$$

my next Car is going to be a US car for Sure coz i can buy a better car for same $$$$$$ down south

BTW the correct Term is "Fuel" not Gasoline...
