I'm so confused so where better to come for realistic info. I have been checking out ads etc and came across a 99 Carrera S cabriolet close to home. 55000km & $26k. But I can't find specs anywhere. I see lots mentioned in texts but never any details. I will appreciate any help & guidance you guys can give.

Nope. Only model options were Coupe and Cab in 2 and 4 wheel drive choices. Europe got the GT3 but it never made it over here. The GT3 also got the Club sport option.
The "S" in the ad is for "S"ucker.

I'm guessin' that if they did make 'em, to find one, well, they would be really rare, but, I thinkin', that maybe they could have but you counit find one, if they did make 'em, cause, well, on the other hand....

only way you could possibly call a 996 an "S" Unoffically thats if it has the "X51" Power Kit or if you Swaped a 997 3.8L in there
but i still wont put a "S" Badge on my 996 (non 4S) even if i had the a X51 or 3.8L... id put a "996 3.8" or "996 X51" badge
PS: Mike_UCR, im in Mississauga sswell 10 & Eglinton... your better of posting this in Canada section, somone on there probaly already knows this car...

Thanks everyone for confirming my thoughts. I'm tempted to go see it to find out exactly what it is. When I asked about the "S", the current owner said more horsepower & bigger brakes. Sounds like the car was just ahead of its time!!

no what i meant was. Local cars are worth more than US cars here... People bring up US cars and Ask Canadian Money for it when you can buy a better car in the US and bring it up for the same $$$$$
my next Car is going to be a US car for Sure coz i can buy a better car for same $$$$$$ down south
BTW the correct Term is "Fuel" not Gasoline...
