What's the ambient temperature? Also, had you just cleaned the cluster? If so, what did you use?

Fairy dust from the Porsche fairy who watches over the car while it's in hibernation.

They are called LCD pimples and only show up on the display. I've heard they are the first symptom of RMS issues.

I guessing it's related to the low temperature you mentioned. You might try warming things up with a hair dryer (be careful not to get the plastic bits too hot) and see if it goes away.

Oh, yeah. Do all the display show the same symptom or just that one?

The others are like it at well, the one i posted is the worst though. I am hoping its the weather. I cant heat it up since the plastic cover on the cluster is the in the way..

Yep last year the same things but worse were showing up on a couple guys displays. LCD's don't like moisture and cold. It's a very low power display and cold reduces the power flow even more.

Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip south. Of course the south doesn't has much relief and nice things to offer currently. The weather sure is cold for you guys. 75 outside and 78 inside right now. Wish we had a bridge for you guys.

A bridge would be nice... I'm done with -20 degree wind chills.... Mind getting me a job in Hawaii?
