Default H&R Sport Springs with ROW M030 shocks

I've searched a lot of old threads, but can't find a lot of driving impressions of putting H&R sport springs with the RoW M030 shocks/struts for a lower ride height. My research shows the spring rates for the M030s are 170F /260 R, and the H&Rs are 170-210F / 230-260R.

So, anyone have driving impressions to share?

Thanks,
Kurt

What's wrong with the ROW M030 springs ?

I saw your previous post having problem with your setup but you never posted a solution about your trouble ride: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...pss10s-qs.html

Mind sharing ? I am about to do the same upgrade but without the gt3 sways.

Phil - your other post prompted me to ask the question I posted. I love the ride and handling of my RoW M030 - nothing wrong with the springs. I sold my PSS10 setup to another rennlister as the streets in Omaha are too brutal for daily use. BUT, I would like slightly lower ride height (was spoiled by the look I got with the PSS10s), so I'm trying to determine if the setup would compromise ride quality like the PSS10s did for me on our crappy streets. So, the solution to my PSS10s problem was to go to the RoW M030, which is great for my 95% street and 5% track driving.

I didn't want to hijack your thread, so I threw my question out in a new one. The whole RoW M030 kit is fantastic - I think you would be very happy with the M030 bars and standard drop links as well. If I didn't have the GT3 bars from my previous setup, I would have gone with the M030 bars as well. This way I have adjustability if I desire it.

Thanks for not hijacking my thread

I was hesitating between the pss10 and the ROWM030, but now that you said that you actually removed your PSS because of poor roads, I feel even better about the ROWM030. I just want fresh suspension, little lower, but keep good ride as I also rarely track the car, and if I do, I am just there for fun, not against the clock.

I am curious about the feedback you will receive on ROW M030 and H&R springs as well. I don't think I want the headache of lowering my car too much, but I admit it look damn good.

BTW both our cars look exactly the same ... aside the fact that mine still ride at SUV height

Does anyone actually have this setup? I did a search, but in most threads it's just people saying to buy the pss9/10 and not answering the question.

Does anyone out there have this setup and pictures of the setup? What are your thoughts after adding the h&r springs to the rowm030?

my 03 has 030 and i put H&R springs on it
the stock ride height was a little too high, with the H&R's it's perfect in my opinion

Wow 6 year thread revival!

Although i'm interested in HR springs and RoW M030 although I might just go full PSS10s as that setup seems to get the best reviews.

How old are is your current MO30 set up? Do the H&R lowing springs match the struts? An alternative to the PSS10 is the H&R street performance coilovers which are available online for $1700 or so. You should be able to reach GT3 ride height with them. Several members hear have recently installed them. This is the set up I am planning to do for my '99 C2.

I'm asking because i have the row m030 and have been contemplating more of a drop without sacrificing performance. Just on this specific setup.

Only a few years old, I'm just drawn to the PSS10s although having to buy other adjustable components might sway me another way. Not too sure yet.
