Default Painting sport design wheels

I have a set of oem 2 piece sport design wheels I want to paint. Is it as easy as pulling the bolts and pulling the center out? Or is there more involved??

you have to have the correct bit that fits the screws. then just take them out and paint. They may have some lock tite. When you put them back use blue lock tite again and determine the correct torque before you start

I heard that you should replace the bolts once removed. Has anyone else heard that?

mark the parts and assemble them exactly as they were. Some multi piece wheels had their final machining done while fully assembled and if bolted up incorrectly will be out of balance and true.

+1. If they were a one piece I would tackle it. But it all depends what your skill set is.

I know he's wrong for every bolt, and pretty sure he's wrong for the wheel bolts.

Porsche recommends replacing the brake caliber bolts and the flywheel bolts once removed. My understanding is that you should replace the sport design wheel bolts once they are loosened but I ave not found that in writing yet.
