Default 996 vacuum diagram

Since I'm in the process of putting my engine back together I had to trace the vacuum lines working on the pics I took during dis-assembly. The pic is too big to load onto Rennlist so here is a link to the labeled composite picture for anyone that needs a vacuum line reference for a 99 C2 Manual.

That's nice and easy to see thanks! One point, I have a 99 and the three way connector is actually a four way. To add to the photo: the fourth line goes to a change over valve seen here:

Ed is that changeover valve something to do with the aux air pump (I don't have one on my car)?

Yes it goes to a hose connected to the air pump. See here:Diagram from thread: AOS replacement

I've seen both, thought it would be good to let people know in your thread they're not nuts when some might see the four way connector. Because I went nuts when I was finding three way connector photos.

Either I'm up late or you're up early.

Default 996 AOS / Vacuum Lines

Hi CDLVancouver, i see you just done some work on your 996. I'm replacing my AOS now. I have a broken hose and a couple of other issues. Tell me, from the diagram, does "30" goto the front rubber sleeve plenum and "29" go to the vacuum tube on the rear resonannce tube?

the image that helped me the most was the first one attached. very easy to figure out.
i only had to reconnect A and B in that image to the back of the plenum and by the vaccuum cannister. bit of effort to get there though
