Default Why do I have a spare tire?

I was spending some time with my mistress tonight (I am out in the garage drinking beer and watching TVsitting next to my car), and it hit me. I have this cool little spare tire in the frunk which is great, but after I swap it out for the flat where do I put the flat tire? I measured the rear wheels and I don't think one would fit in the frunk, I would have to put the flat in the back seats right?

Or maybe I would change the flat, leave it in the ditch (marking the location on my GPS) then drive to where I had cell hone coverage so I could call for a flat-bed to come get my wheel from the ditch.

I heard that the 997's come without a spare. Should I do a spare delete?

Yah well for sure it will not fit in the frunk. Too much junk

Yep, 987/997 neither one comes with a spare. Just some aerosol goo in a plastic baggie. More room in the frunk for frunking though.

If I read the manual correctly, if you have a rear flat the procedure is to first take off one front tire and replace that with the spare then replace the flat rear with the front.
Some solution Hum?

I love the "frunk", I'll have to use that sometime...

Most newer/higher end cars are coming w/out spares nowadays. My Corvette didn't have one either. I *think* your toolkit may include a bag to wrap the flat tire in, so you can take it inside the car.

Very simple. You put the spare in the car. Just make sure you have a tire tote or garbage bag in your front boot tool kit.

I was in that predicament a while back, I left the wheel somewhere and came back later to get it...

The OE tool roll comes with a large plastic bag to put the tire in, and then into the cabin.
