Any chance y'all are overthinking this? My solution has always been to wash the car, stick it in the garage, and take it out for a 20-minute drive every three weeks or so. Never any problems with batteries, flatspotted tires, or anything else.

Thanks!

Ryan, the link I posted is not a trickle charger but a maintainer.... I said trickle charger originally but meant a maintainer.... agreed with Bruce, trickle chargers are usually used for reviving dying batteries.

This is the most user friendly battery maintainer that I found... Plugs in the cigarette lighter and the wall... no need to put adapters on the battery itself.

What do you guys think of this one?

I have been using one of those with great success for the past 4 years. But the price you have sucks. They are about $55 from Sunset and Suncoast.

This is the one I use. Not sure what the functional difference is between this and that.

What would be the difference of the USA version?

You are right! Correct me if I'm wrong, I do not need the clamps if the battery is still hooked to the car?

110 volts at the AC end, I assume. "USA version" sounds like Porsche-speak, not Pelican-speak.

You do not need the clamps. Just plug into cig. lighter....and close the door.

I plug in every chance I get, unless I know I will use the car again that day. Plugged in the entire hibernation period.

You can get the same "maintainer" charger that has the Porsche name on it for a lot less on Amazon.com. The C-Tek unit is the same one as the Porsche unit.
