Getting ready for Winter Storage...

Any chance y'all are overthinking this? My solution has always been to wash the car, stick it in the garage, and take it out for a 20-minute drive every three weeks or so. Never any problems with batteries, flatspotted tires, or anything else.

A trickle charger feeds your battery a steady supply of current whether it needs it or not. In extreme cases, I've seen guys boil motorcycle-size batteries dry with these, and even blow them up. A maintainer monitors your battery's condition and rate of discharge and supplies current to replace what's lost as needed.

Look at your profile picture, enough said.

Ryan, the link I posted is not a trickle charger but a maintainer.... I said trickle charger originally but meant a maintainer.... agreed with Bruce, trickle chargers are usually used for reviving dying batteries.

Yeah, but look at the condition your car is in. Geez.

This is the most user friendly battery maintainer that I found... Plugs in the cigarette lighter and the wall... no need to put adapters on the battery itself.
What do you guys think of this one?

This is the one I use. Not sure what the functional difference is between this and that.

You are right! Correct me if I'm wrong, I do not need the clamps if the battery is still hooked to the car?

I plug in every chance I get, unless I know I will use the car again that day. Plugged in the entire hibernation period.
