Default This is a way better deal

I'm pretty sure this guy will take $5k. Met him in person when he was in Seattle on biz. Straight shooter:

I offered $5K for that engine in late 2008 and again in 2009 when I was repairing my intermix. At the time he would not take it. However it is now two years later so who knows, but I no longer need the engine.

Do you guys have his email address? I have a customer who needs that engine and can't afford a new porsche engine or my updated engine..

The 6-speed online crate motor, correct? Call this place, link below. Ask for Joe Z. Tell him you got his name from Kie in Seattle.

FYI I can't confirm he will take $5k, was just guessing. I think it has a deep sump plate as well. Maybe from you Jake!

It sounds like it will be a bidding frenzy soon.

You can probably buy a 3.4L and transplant it into a Boxter and sell the 2.5L breaking even. The Spec Boxster crowd is willing to pay a lot for a 2.5 engine as those replacements costs have skyrocketed.
