Default Painted wheels: Flame suit on

I bought the car and the wheels were powdercoated black with a yellow time attack. I absolutely hated them and didn't even want to look at the car. After my first track day when I got home I decided to paint them

I sanded them down, primered, painted, clear coat. Total time: 6 hours Price: $35

They pop!
That green reminds me of the AMC gremlin.

I've considered white, red and green for wheels on my black '99, but honestly haven't pulled the trigger on any choices. You can always sand and paint again if your color choice changes.

"Unique" colors often grow tiresome in a short amount of time. That's both the plus and the minus.

Call me a traditionalist, but I'd have opted for silver...that classic look of a black car with silver wheels. And by the way, I do like the design of those BBS wheels.

I thought they looked better before - if it is a dedicated track car the green is fine... I would not drive them on the road - a tad much for me

Looks great! Your car will now be known as the 996 with the green wheels.

I actually like the black on black better, but it's your car. Maybe a few more accents the color of the wheels.

That's funny - you couldn't stand to look at your car with black wheels (which actually looked good), and you decided to go green? Those wheels are burning my retinas. At least you're only out $35.

Got mine painted flat back to match the tips and decal.
Had the wheel bolts powder coated but the paint still chipped when the wheels were put on.

You spray painted BBS wheels? Ugh, I don't feel well.

The glass half full answer is "at least you can take it off and try again!'"
