Options List on my "new" 2004 996 Targa
Well, Friday just can't come fast enough. I am flying to Houston to pick up my Dark Teal 2004 Carrera Targa. The salesman faxed me the window sticker this afternoon, so I thought I would post the car's options. The car had a base sticker of $76,000, and a final selling price of $91,055.00. Here is how it stacked up:

Natural Leather Brown----------------------4,695
Light Wood Package Small-----------------2,120
Natural Brown Floor Mats--------------------115
Power Seat Package------------------------1,560
18" Turbo Look Wheels---------------------1,435
Wheel Caps with Colored Crests-------------175
Lumbar Support Right Seat-------------------365
Lumbar Support Left Seat---------------------365
Exclusive Options-----------------------------2,635
----3 Spoke Steering Wheel Lt Wood / Leather
----Porsche Crest in Headrest
----Natural Leather Code - PAG
----Brake / Shifter / in Wood / Aluminum
----Special (can't read the fax)

Current Mileage on the car - 24,000 miles

Ohhh Yaaaa Baby!!!!
It's an 18 hour drive from Houston to Chicago. I am guessing arrival in Chicago sometime mid-day on Sunday. I'll take my camera along to try to snap some pix along the way.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I know that I got a really great deal on the car. You know that Excellence Mag prints Porsche reader reported sales figures on a monthly basis. I can't wait to send them the details on this car purchase.
I am still considering whether I should buy a aftermarket warranty for the car. I'll have to see what kind of a deal they are going to give me. They said that they would sell it to me at close to cost. Yaaah, I'll see about that.
Then I am planning on driving this car all winter, so I will also be buying an extra set of wheels and winter tires. So, when I get back, I've got to get on line with Tire Rack. I've bought a set of wheels and tires from them for my current car. Made winter driving a lark.

Normally I would laugh at stuff like this considering the price but your back will thank you for this option driving it back from TX. I drove mine back from Georgia and the Lumbar support saved my back the full 12 hours straight.
