Hello. Went to a 04 966 Carrera Cabrio from an E46 M3 last week. First Porsche, really enjoying the ride. Much to learn. Steering wheel's off center abit, overall the car's in great shape, low miles. From what I'm reading it looks like the tie rods need adjustment to center steering wheel ? Doesn't seem to "pull" one way or the other at speed.

Welcome to the club Geo.....I don't know much about the tie rods, find your local Pcar dealer and take it there for the fix or find an alignment guy that is familiar with the Porsche.
Fill us in with more details......Color? Options?
So the big question I have is WHERE ARE THE PICS! Where's Tim?![order](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/order.gif)
Enjoy the car!

Welcome and congratulations ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Even though it doesn't seem to pull it won't hurt to get an alignment done, which should also take care of centering the steering wheel.

Okay, correction, not 966(typo), but 996. 6 spd manual, grey leather interior, carbon/leather steering wheel and shifter. eight cd changer. Not sure on any more options, except of course the wheels. How do I know if I have the "high end" radio? What other options might I have? and how might I determine? How do I post pics?

welcome
check your options sticker, might be under the hood - it is coded, take a pic and we will de-code it
to load a picture use "go advance" then down below hit manage attachments... browse, upload, close and post.... you'll see
enjoy and hurry with the pics, I haven't woke up yet but without coffee I am starting to get a little edgy

+1 for the wheels!
I had them and can offer suggestions on cleaning....one thing for sure, dont get behind or they will be very difficult VERY DIFFICULT!
second, use a very long bristled high quality brush and a little Griot's wheel cleaner, do it often and its easy, sometimes I would just quickly wash the wheels only (not the car)
lastly, take time to apply a nice coat or two of REJEX to them about every 6 months (inside and out - removed from car)
do those things and they will look great !!
next lets talk pumpkins and check those exhaust tips.... looks like passenger side is in quite a ways from this angle compared to drivers
