i dont know what the "whole assembly" entails. but the whole thing you see in the pix is what you get.

That's indeed a great price for the whole assembly. I got a regular 997 shifter that I am currently doing the swap with my old 996 shifter. I am having a little bit of a problem with the cable detachment from the old shifter but hopefully I can get by that soon. If not I will start a new thread to request some help from this expert group. Cheers,

mooty, did you just not like it or what, i've been thinkin about gettin one & was wanting to know whats the biggest difference, is it just the shifts are closer together, and can you tell that much difference.

shifter throw is MUCH shorter.
tighter, more precise.
i like it. but i have had seven 996gt3's, and bought a LOT of parts, at times i have more inventory than most small shops. every so often i find parts in my storage that i have no use for... so i sell them off. i just posted a bunch of stuff taken off from a variety of GT3

thanks, do i have to have them installed or is it something i can do myself & if so how long do you think it takes, sounds like it would be pretty cool mod to have.

If it's not sold or doesn't go through I'd be interested
