Try using the defrost button to only aim up at windshield, make sure the A/C button is "on" and put the temperature setting a little higher than outside air. This should get rid of condensation quickly and then turn down the temperature so you don't cook in the car. As the window fogs up again turn the temp. up again. It's a cycle of turning temp up and temp down that seems to work for me here on humid nights here in Montreal.

So, I should put the temp at about 95 degrees?
Jokes aside, turning up the temperature from where you would usually put it on a very warm and muggy day in the South (70 or below) will help some. But the vent will still cause some condensation. I just hit the wipers to shove it aside... of course that does potentially dirty the windshield a bit.

Down in Florida we have that issue all year round! The best solution I've found is to use the front vent only (the oval button as one poster said above). It's not perfect, but much less condensation forms on the windshield using the front vents setting.

I had this issue last week while driving in Florida. I turned off the window vents but one night it got so bad I had to use the defog setting.
Thankfully it doesn't happen as often here in Charlotte.

Get an air-cooled 911. You won't have that problem when the air conditioning is on. Ed will tell you which combo of levers, vents, fan speeds works best... ED?
