The lights are very very simple to install, you need a phillips screw driver to open the light assembly (2 screws each light assembly) then you slide the rubber housing/gasket off, and pull the light out with your fingers. Then just reverse the steps. Once putting on the lights, it does have positive/negative, so if it's not lighting up one way just reverse them and bingo!!

I'll have all that info to you guys by the end of the day!! Sorry again..
no worries - just giving you crap You had waaay bigger things to worry about than this

would this be the same bulb for the trunk light also? I'm guessing LED would light up the trunk nicely when you open it.

Both ebay links work for me at the moment. But they go to two different (but similar) products. They are from the same seller, but priced differently. Also, one says "36mm" and the other says "~37mm". There may be other differences too.

Topaz330ci, which one did you get?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

I went with the first link originally. Once I posted that it said that it was no longer available... then I checked the rest of his/her products and I found another one which said 996 Carrerra (2nd link).

They look the exact same and that little mm difference shouldn't be a problem in anyway. When you install them, the tabs are very flexible and can be manipulated to fit.

I bought a pair from the second link as well.
