Sumitomo HTR Z III 295/30ZR18
I was down to banana skin on my Sumi HTR Z III 285. Ordered a set of 295 from tire rack and received in less than 24 hours. The 295 are now protecting the rims better than the 285. What a tire! These are great! Ride quality is just as good as my Michelin Pilot Rib.

Seems you just can't beat that tire for the price/size/performance.
I have toyed with the idea of replacing the Conti 2s on the back once they are gone as the fronts look great.
Just can't justify buying 2 contis for the same price of Sumis all the way around.
Looks good.

Race Car
I've got over 10K miles on the set that's on my A4 and while I only drive that car as transportation these days it has quite agressive camber due to it's low stance and I've been pleasantly suprised at how well the tires are wearing while still giving good performance.
I'll buy another set after these are done. As a matter of fact I was going to put them on my E55 but they don't make the size I need for the rear of that car.

I am running 235F and 295R with the Sumi IIIs. It was the same width comparing with Ferd's 285 P-Zero's though. I thought it would be 10mm wider. Each tire make measures their width a little bit different..

Guys, drove my new ones at Road Atlanta this weekend. Wasn't expecting much, but they held up great. I ran the car with stock suspension and brakes. I did get some wear on the outsides of the rears, but still plenty left.
Next time, I will do R-comps, but that is only to keep up with the race cars in the expert group.

Sumis are a true bargain...stop with the praise before the manufacturer finds out and increases the price. I will buy them again when mine wear out(even though some will say, "they aren't N rated").

My contact at Tire Rack has told me "unofficially" that the Sumi HTRZIII is the best tire bargain they have. Nearly equal to the performance of the top tires at a fraction of the price.
I ran them on my 968 and will replact my Contis with them when the time comes.

Put them on my 01 TT about 500 miles ago - I'm happy and will buy them again when needed. The difference in $$$ from PS2s is just ridiculous.

I just put a set of Sumis on the 996 two weeks ago for the new owner. Best kept secret in world of tires. I was running just the rears before and wife has them on her Boxster.
