If interested, I posted a full set of 40th anniversary rims, with center caps in the parts classifieds.

I stole a gauge cluster from one of the 40thAE herd

It reminds me of the Carrera GT cluster, which is pretty cool

Prompted me to look up a photo of the GT's. Looks killer!

If only we had oil temp instead of battery voltage like the GT!!!

thanks guys, it's been a work in progress. Glad to be done with it. May change to dark gray tach background, but not for a while.

just disassemble the cluster and carefully put these laminates on the gauge faces. The quality is acceptable considering the price.

Do you still love it? I just test drove one here in Chicago and am getting a PPI done early next week. I plan on going to Euroquipe. Anyone have recos for water-cooled specialists for a PPI around Chicago? I was told to stay away from Midwest Performance on Lake street after their change in management. Napleton no longer does them.

What a great forum, resource, and group of enthusiast owners. Scott, I can't thank you enough for the offers and the call. Your passion for Porsches is palpable.

My PPI will go well next week, and I will be joining the ranks of the 1963.

Scott said the same. I will see what their availability is. Excellent often equals swamped. Tentatively going to see Kurt over at Euroquipe, but I will call Fisher on Monday to see if they can slide me in.

Thanks!

That is Nr. 0336 - was originally owned (leased) by earlyapex here on RL. Which 40th are you having a PPI done on? Through the work on the 40th Registry I have a ton of info on these cars and if it's info I'm at liberty to share I will be happy to do so. You can check out the Registry website and FB page via the links in my signature below. By the way, we're organizing a 40th meet-up in Chicago (Scott and Alex already know). If you get one of our cars you're certainly welcome. Likely in late Sept. Ted
