Picked up number 1008 yesterday. 45,000 miles and in fantastic shape. Really fun car especially compared to my 2004 C4S.
@FastAlpine congrats and welcome aboard! You got a real gem. @GTgears sure did a great job with her during his time of ownership and I'm sure you'll have many enjoyable miles thanks to his care. When you get a chance please shoot me an email at 40jahre911@gmail.com so that I can get a few details to update the Registry records. You may have found all of that info already but the links to the various Registry digital platforms are in my signature below. There are a bunch of owners in PA and if you'd like to meet any of them we can connect you.
Here are a couple side shots to show the Girodisc rotors on the car:
As far as a comparison to my old 996 C4S, this car's suspension feels more planted along with being RWD vs AWD. I felt the C4S was very soft and floated on the highways and around corners. It had brand new suspension all around and still felt this way. The 40th feels more lively, quicker and better suspension. The X51 also helps a lot too I am sure.
I don’t think Joe mentioned it in the ad, but when Adam owned it, one of the things he did was install Ruf springs. They dropped the car to Euro ride height without the need for dampers because of the M030 set up being stock on a 40 Jahre.
Does anyone know the part number for the front lip under the bumper? Thought it was the same as the 4S but have been getting conflicting results searching Sunset and Suncoast.

I got this one exactly a year ago from FCP and it fit perfectly. I've painted it to match the body color. With FCP I can get a new one for free with their lifetime warranty if this one get damaged.

I posted this in the Registry FB group under your question there, too. 9965055550201C
@911user - love it! What are you having done at almost 494k miles? Sounds like it should be in tip top shape as you roll over 500k miles.
Great news, a new oil/air separator is need and a major vacuum hose was causing a lot of trouble. Cylinders and side walls looking great. New suspension is also needed. More news
too follow!

That's amazing! No bore scoring after almost 500k miles! You're a perfect example of how a 911 should be used IMHO. Have you considered the UAOS? It will make the air-oil separator essentially a lifetime item and should it ever fail, you can replace the piece that fails with a screwdriver in 10 minutes.
Sold my original owner 2004 last summer when I retired due to health reasons. It had 60k miles. Miss it every day. Word to the wise: Don't ever sell your cars!
I do have a bunch of 40th Anniversary accessories and related stuff listed now on eBay, since I no longer want all the visual reminders of my old car. Selling those are easier than looking at them.

Sorry for not providing the link/ I wasn't sure if that was allowed. I am not the most tech savvy guy so a local friend is posting them on his "store" on that platform. There are four or five items listed now, some models, brochures and artwork. More to come. Here is his site: https://www.ebay.com/str/joestrinket..._sop=16&_pgn=1
