Default Changing exhaust tips....

Will removing the rear bumper give me the access? Seems easy enough. Don't really want to pull the cans.

IMO pulling the cans is so easy that is what I would do... that said you MIGHT be able to get to the clamps w/o pulling anything if you try...

I was able to change the exhaust tip on the driver's side by getting to the clamp. I can get to the passenger side clamp but the GD clamp bolt spins. I don't have the room to put something on the other end to stop the spin.

can you rotate the clamp with a big pair of channel locks? maybe rotate the tip then hold the clamp, rotate back, then repeat?

good luck - iirc once they loosen a little they can be rotated to gain better access BUT rotate one dirrection better than the other so you might have to go "all the way around"

I sprayed some penetrating spray and then rotated the clamps so I could remove from a better angle.

I took the can out. The head of the clamp bolt was not seated right..the concave part of the bolt head was not on the flange portion of the clamp which is why the bolt was turning. It was not locked in place. Cleaned up the threads and all back to together.

Thanks for the words of wisdom guys.
