Porsche Sport Driving School
Just completed the One-Day High Performance Driving Course at the Barber Motorsports facility yesterday and I've got to say that the entire event was First Class! We were given the opportunity to drive the Caymen, Boxster, 911 and the Panamera.
It's a little pricey, but, the cars, the facility, the instructors and the track are all pretty cool. Anyone else out there done the two or three day master's courses?

I can't say enough about the track. Not only is it pretty technical, but, the grounds are immaculate. Also, I didn't realize that the Barber that owns the facility is in no way associated w/ Skip Barber. Evidently the guy just started out wanting to build a little track for his motorcycles and wound up building a track and a museum to house his motorcycles (world's largest) and cars.
I highly recommend it!

I sat next to one of the instructors on a plane a couple of weeks ago. We had a superb conversation. I would definitely put this on my list of things to do in the next couple of years....

It's only slightly tailored to the Porsche "Owner", more so to the Porsche "driver". No disrespect to the outfit.
I've since a fair amount of track driving with instruction from some pretty serious drivers and the PSDS was just a baseline for what I was shown. However, learning anything after PSDS is easier than what I think it would be without PSDS at all.
As for the cost, PSDS has a serious list of instructors (Daniel is a 20 year Porsche racer) and you get to beat the hell out of brand new cars without having to worry about tyres or brakes!!!
As for the risk element and insurance, the risk is really low considering how the program is tailored. Even without track experience I would only suggest the insurance add-on for the masters session.
