Does anyone know if there is a way to hide the mileage display? I hate seeing my miles jump up

You should be able to change it in the dashboard to show something else apart from the mileage. It will show up when you stop and start the car though.

That's correct - go into the settings menu for the display and you can change it. As soon as you take the key out, it will revert back to mileage.

I love seeing miles rack up. Hell I paid for the car, I am happy as hell knowing I am driving the **** out of it and to hell with the next guy!

Nothing beats a tons on Porsche miles in your memory for times when you can't drive it too!

Don't cover it up - flaunt it baby

How many miles on your 'new' air-cooled Porsche Ed? Less than the 996?

Isnt is a damn shame how it has been breed into us that putting miles on your car is such a bad thing??? it plays a lot of mental games with me too.. Well it used too, So I started buying p-cars with 100K plus then I dont have to worry about it. Now I am proud to say "yeah it has 180,000 miles on it. Still drives fantastic"

78000 on my Turbo and loving every mile. This car is an absolute blast. Why anyone would deny themselves of sure a pleasure is beyond me. Drive it, take care of it, and have a great time.

Not me, I bought it to drive it, It's not an investment so pile on the miles and the fun!

The highest millage P-car I ever owned was an 88 951 that I bought with 30K miles or so and sold with 200K miles! I thought it was cool that I piled all those miles on it.
