Default 6 disk changer issue

Of course I am getting ready to take a 10 hr drive. Load all my music on to Cd's last night. and.........

The CD will not recognize discs 3-6.
Some things:
I know it is not the disk it-self. Moved disk one to disk 5 position with same thing.
WHen I got the car I put two disks in to see if it worked and of course it did. So for 3 months it has only had 2 discs loaded

I am thinking it needs some kind of reset to check for more discs

I'm thinking get a belkin FM transmitter ($69) and plug in your IPOD or IPHONE never worry about CDs again, no skipping as you're taking that hard banking turn through the mountains. Works great on the track also for lap times, not listening to music.

Try this

I had 4 disks loaded in originally, so on the screen, it only show the 4 disks, even though I had 6 loaded, I pressed number 5 and number 6 on the deck ,and then all the 6 disks showed up.

Kyle, try unloading all 6 discs and reloading all of them again, one right after another. It may not work but is worth a try.

Some times the whatsamagiggy gets confused and is unable to trigger the whatchamacallit to access the memory-thingie for all of the discs, so reloading the discs will fix that issue. Sorry for using such high level technical terms.

Anyway, I'm glad that worked.
