Dealer Programmable Features

Check you engine lid since I got fooled by that thing looking latched but it wasn't so the horn beeped. My sunroof doesn't close when holding the key in the lock position either but it doesn't bother me.
I think I also read the glove box or even the IR sensor on the dash beng blocked will error the system to honk the horn.

My car honks if you press the lock button twice in a fast manner. Just pressing it once flashes the lights. I think it was in the owners manual somewhere, and I tried it and it worked. During next year's service I am going to have it programmed to autolock the doors after reaching 3-4mph - I like that feature.

Reprogram the seat position with your key you use in the ignition. I think the previous owner was bigger and when the car adjust for his size you just aren't his size. Page 35 of the PDF owners manual.

I've done that, and if I push and hold the button that looks like a key the seat moves forward to the position I programmed. I even tried the process in the manual for clearing the settings.
It seems like a feature to make it easier to get into the car.
And for Tim: as soon as the weather gets better here in Oregon I will take and post some picuteres of my new dream car.

I like the fact that the horn beeps whenever I lock the car, however a strange thing happens. Whenever I store the car for a period of five or six days with the alarm on, I can not unlock it with the key fob. I have to use the key to open the door and start the car. I do not believe that the alarm drains the battery because it seems to have plenty of power to start the car. If I take the car to a public parking lot, I always set the alarm and come back an hour or so later, and disarm the alarm with the key fob. Tell me what you think, if this is a drain on the battery.
