2002 911 C4 Covertible 44,000 miles Lapis blue over gray leather. $34,900. It has mainly lived in the Wilkes Barre, PA area. Clean car fax with transmission removed and rear crankshaft seal replaced in 04. Everything else is just standard maintenance. WPOCA29902S650932. I am in love with this car. Calling Wyoming Valley Motors, the Porsche dealer in Wilkes Barre, to schedule a PPI in the morning. Any info on this car would be greatly appreciated. This will be my 1st Porsche. YAHOOOOO

Let me know how you make out, I am always skeptical about dealers like Rayco, most of their cars seems pretty well priced, makes me think there is more to it. Good luck!!!
Hope the PPI checks out, it is a nice car for sure.

Pics look good. My 02 Boxster is lapis blue and the color is still good looking. Cleans up nice and is still shiny. Good color.
Brakes look in need of attention. I see what appears to be some bit of a wear lip on outer and inner portions of rotors. Get quote on new brake rotors, pads, full fluid flush/bleed and factor that into the value you place on the car.
In fact, unless done recently -- within service intervals for the various following items -- and you get paperwork to look at *before* you buy the car, assume the car will oil/filter service, brake fluid flush/bleed, tranny fluid service, coolant drain/refill, serpentine belt replacement, and alignment.
Sincerely,
Macster.

Just me, but I would not scratch it. I would get a thorough PPI, DME scan, and paint check. I would also let them know you have heard about some bad experiences, this will certainly make them hesitate to try to pull one over on you.

I went to look at this car a few weeks ago. The sales person said that the car was sold waiting financing approval. I wasn't extremely interested in a convertible anyway. The car looked very clean and he told me the same about the RMS work. According to the sales person, it was traded at one of the local dealers.
