Exclamation FS: Arai GP5-W size XL Helmet in White (Like New)

I've only worn this helmet to 2 track days (a total of 4 days). I wore a balaclava all 4 days, so it still smells & looks like new inside. I'm selling because it fits me one size too big. If anyone has the same helmet in L & needs one size up, I will accept & actually PREFER to do an even trade, because I'm not too enthusiastic on losing money since I'm probably going to buy the same helmet again anyways.

If you look closely at me (driver), you'll see I'm wearing a balaclava:

Here's another pic from when I just bought it like 3 months ago:

Helmet was: $899
I added the tinted "shield" (visor) to the helmet: another $80

Right now the helmet has a Porsche shield decal on each side which look pretty cool but they're removable, & across the top of the visor is the "RennTrack.com" decal which cost me like $10k & ads about 500HP & 400ft. lbs. of torque to any car you're driving while wearing it. Will post new pics later so you can see what I'm talking about.

I'm asking $750 OBO

Although I'd actually prefer a trade for the same helmet in size L or any other good quality helmet in size L +/- cash.

Thanks!

You might check with Arai to see if the internal cushions do the difference for XL and Large. I've got HJC and Joe Rocket for my bike and take padding out cleaning. Here's a link for padding and helmet sizing. Looks like M-L is same shell size. But you never know what Arai or bike dealer might know. Place I shop would let us snap out on shelf helmets padding and check if buying just the liner parts would fit right. Bike riding it's snug. Bike that does 178 and head in carbon hahahaha splat. Good luck.http://www.araiamericas.com/helmets/helmet_sizing.pdf

Lol, I doubt I'll find a swap, although it doesn't hurt to try. As long as I can sell it I'm fine though.

... What do you mean by "it's not white"?? Is it pink with yellow flowers on it or what? Hahaha.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had already thought of that though. I checked, & they make different size cheek pads for slimmer/chubbier faces, but the problem would be to fill in the cranium area (which is the part you REALLY want to protect).

No one told. I found a pic you posted of it on another forum where you secretly post as "PorscheFanGrrrl"

Are you sure that's not your wife's helmet which you PRETEND is yours when you're at P-car meets/trackdays/fun runs? 'Cause I doubt the pink helmet with Ed Mitchell on the side could be your wife's, lol.

Ya, I did my research before buying & Arai makes the best fitting helmets. It's freaking light too. When I sell it, I'm basically gonna go & buy another in the right size.
