The power plenum works well with the X-51 motor. Also high flow muffers should help her breath.

according to www.etusivu.info/porsche the net weight is 1370 (kg) or about 3,014 lbs.....so curb weight with all the fluids would be about 3,100? or the same as a Carrera 2?

They aren't right, at least for US models.

My 02 996 C2 with no options, no PASM, 6 speed, stock, no spare and no tools, weighed 3450lbs with 3/4 tank of gas. I don't know where they get those numbers! So, I removed the radio, seats, center console, and it still weighed 3300lbs. I then removed the sunroof motor, mufflers, and installed a lightweight battery (10lbs versus 45), and the car still weighs 3050 with NO GAS. So, a heavily optioned 40th with spare, tools, stock seats, certainly weighs close to 3500. I'm sure someone here has actually weighed one! Until then, it's speculative! It's also frustrating because the club race rules base their class weights on some number that's impossible to get to... 2960 lbs with driver!! But that's a separate topic!

Garrett the minimum weight for your car in 996 Spec is 3040 and you should be able to get there. You still have the heater core, lower dash, dash brace, interior paneling, carpet, sound proofing, and the sun roof panel. There's lots of hidden weight in that car so get to work and join us in 996 Spec....
