I love the GT2 @ RPM. Just doubt you could get it at reasonable price.

That Boxster looks pretty hot. I like it too.

Couple years ago I saw a PTS Boxster for sale in Blue Turquoise like Dan's 997. It looked awesome. I was lusting after it big time.

Default Riveria Boxster, I think.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ype=b&make=POR

I thought about putting it in my garage next to my 997, it's for sale less than 10 miles away. But it's got a lot of milage and no Litronic's which makes the front look sad.

I spoke with the seller, it does have a new top and 18" wheels both pluses. Now if it was a pre 200 it could be used for spec racing.

I'll bet you can get for less than $10k. I know it's had a few owners it was actually for sale at Leith Porsche about 2 years back, maybe less. Slap a new engine in, at some point, maybe even a 3.4 and dang you'll have a cool garage Phil. Or buy it for Sunday drives, you'll put so little mileage on it the 102 000 miles won't matter.

PS He's selling it as "Carolina Blue" that's a first

Geeez to have a boxster twin just 10 miles away in such a smokin hot color.

Go to the bank ask them for 5 or 6K in 20's. Then go buy a briefcase and put all the 20's in it.

Walk in say here's 5K cash. Pop it open and they will $hit. You'd be suprised at how well this works. If the motor dies in a couple of years do an engine upgrade and all is good. My 2 cents.

Damn boxsters are getting soooo cheap it is almost hard not to buy one. There are two orig. owner cars less than 5 miles from me. Both have dropped their prices to 13K and both have 60K miles.

Keep in mind that Blue Turquoise was a standard 911, turbo, and 986 (Boxster) color in years 1996 and 1997. Few, however, were ever delivered in that color. In those years, it wasn't popular.

Default Maritime belts too.

Note that with the 996's they offered belts in Maritime Blue, this Maritime Blue C4S has 'em!
I wonder if I could swop mine out? But just like yellow belts they sure as hell show dirt.

Pictures sent to me by the sales guy in the UK.

I actually like the GT2. Having seen one of the other two it will take a needle in a haystack buyer.

One more:

Looks like arena red, orient red or ruby red, but it isn't. This came from the Porsche website used car list.

Note the natural brown interior with the deviating carpet in black too.

Here's one I saw this afternoon in town at an indy shop. Pretty different.

Can't say for sure that it's PTS. Could be a repaint, but I don't think so.

I'd say it looks like the 996 PTS cars are out there. They just don't appear to be represented here by RL owners.

Really not that many 997 PTS owners on RL either. Are there?
