Any retro 996's around?

I wanted to forget about this one. I posted it in a 996 thread then simpateko made a 993 thread out of it. I just had to clear my brain of the terror of looking at it and simpateko probably ran into the same problem. It was a car for sale in Portland, Or-a-gun Oregon's craigslist.

The Sport Classics are now available from the dealer as a set only, with PS2's. The info says they are only for AWD, so the width and offsets probably won't work on a 996. It would be an expensive experiment though!

Thanks, Barn.
I actually think that the twists are the quintessential 996 wheel, aesthetically speaking, just like the Fuchs were for the 911. Some of the aftermarket setups guys have are sweet, no doubt, but I like my stealth fighter look.

I just checked. The wheels come mounted with Michelin PS2's and can be had with TPMS or without. The information is unclear whether the wheels are 8.5 or 8x19 in the front, and 11 or 11.5 in the rear. Based on the fact that Porsche specifically says that these only apply to 997 C4/C4S/Targa4/Targa4S and Turbo's, I would guess that they are the wider 8.5 and 11.5" wheels. The offsets are probably et55 in the front and et50 in the rear. For this, Porsche is asking $6630.
