Thumbs up My New-To-Me Euro GT3 Seats, Installed

Write Up Page with all pics.

These are the seats advertised by GMP. They were great to work with. Good communication, professional, and no surprises.

The seats are essentially brand new. There is very little to no wear on the leather, and there are only a couple of minor scratches on the back of the shells. The seats came with all of the mounting hardware and the sub bars, all already attached.

It is a straight forward install, and I was going to use Carerra Mike's Install Gallery as a guide, but many Thanks to Dell for all of the help with the install. He did most of the wrenching since he's done this before.

I need some better outdoor pictures, but you can get the gist of the result.

Great job! Any seat time yet to compare w/ stock? Do you lose all power adjustment and heating capability?

Just moving around in the driveway right now, but they really hold you snugly. There are no power adjustments; just forward and backward on the sliders; no heating. Not much of an issue here in NC

You loose everything except comfort under increased G-forces.

Awe, yea.... for those that dont have these, you loose NOTHING! (lol) and gain SO much!!

This would be a "must have" mod on any other P-car I ever own
Congrats! - nice shots and you know I thopught your car was already beautiful... now it is to die for!

Thanks Ed. They essentially are brand new.

You certainly loose I'd say ~25# per side. I put my seats up on my storage rack in the garage and that was no fun carrying those heavy SOBs up the ladder.

LOL, my garage has a stupid flat roof, so no overhead storage. Had to leave mine on the floor in the second bay. Kind of in the way, but I wont be putting them back in while I own the car, and I dont want to get rid of them in case I sell the car and the new owner wants the stock seats...

Its one of the prices we pay for mods with large parts

Next year maybe. Researching full Tequipment setup or the Brey-Krause.

I want to get a feel for how this setup will work with the stock 3-pt belts for the upcoming DE in late November.

should of just mounted the sub bar while you were at it.... you know it's gonna go that route.

Enjoy!
