Very cool show. They could not have picked a more stunning 911...the Mexico blue GT3 sounded and looked amazing.

It was pretty well put together....though the same shot of the Red '10 GT3 going through the one turn with the tail out got old about 1/2 way through the show. I suppose they needed some filler though.

It was interesting to watch, likely give it another viewing this evening.

Cool

If they needed "filler" they could have show a couple more "stations", orused some more clips from the new museum, or track time at Weissach or the 'Ring, or even walked into the reception hall to show folks taking factory delivery, or the "special wishes" section they only briefly alluded to, or any of a jillion other things.
Still, it was excellent from start to finish. Although I now have my personal DVD of this program, I won't mind buying thier version to see if there is a "Directors cut" minus the commercials. Although even the commercials were entertaining... the first couple of times.
And a Mexico Blue GT3 at full song is always magic to the eyes.

I DVR'ed it last night. Along with about seven Top Gear episodes on BBC America from the last week when I was out of town. Guess I have a lot of TV to catch up on this weekend.

Great show. Loved every minute of it. Anyone noticed that Walter R was driving the red GT3 in the track clips?

Very cool automated robots that transport the parts to assembly areas and transport the finished motors back to the drive train assembly area. I'm so impressed at the cleanliness of the factory. If you see some clips of US car factories (at least some of the GM plants), it's no where near as clean or well lit. Just some interesting differences I noted.
