Price check on used Remus exhaust please
Hey I'm not a 996 guy, but a friend I am doing a big favor for may decide to trade me this exhaust system he has. He removed it from his modded 996tt and it has some very minor scratches on the mufflers but no damage or imperfections on the 4 outlet tips or anywhere else. Functionally it is perfect.
What could I reasonably expect to sell it for?

I clicked on the link... and I honestly can't understand how companies like that stay in business. What is it made from: iconel? titanium? sterling silver perhaps?

it says 304 stainless steel with 441 chrome-plated SS tips...so lol no I guess the $3k+ price tag must be for...something? Seems like it is not even intended for street use though since the word RACING appears on there in all caps.
Try to find some spec racers or something?

Good enough for the X-15!
Mind you, Subaru did go a little mental a few years back with the WRC program!

ya goota find someone who wants it....
I can tell you, having expensive parts doesnt make them worth anything..... want a GT2 OEM wing?
That said it has a lifetime warranty so hang on to it till you get a 996TT since the thing has NO homolmgation and has 2 metal catalysers

Thanks for the input boys. This fine piece became mine today so I will have a Rennlist classified ad soon.
The web link say:
"Fits : 3.6l 340kW, M96/70S - 3.6l 355kW, M96/70SL - 331kW, M96/70E - 3.6l 309kW, M9670"
So does all that mean it will fit any 996 model ever made?
Is this RUF part worth what the $2k they are asking? I'm thinking a grand would be all I need for this Remus version.
