bubbles...........
So I washed the car today at the car wash....hmm... bug guts... no problem I'll just move the sprayer a little closer and....damn.. Apparently I have a clear bra and I've put a bubble in it! Course the bubble now looks like the blemish that it is any thoughts on how to get rid of it or is it time for that respray of the bumper?

Right; try to pop it first [although if a bubble developed then the film is breached somewhere nearby already] it get the film to lay flat, then carefully try the hair dryer / heat gun approach; if you get it too hot it'll deform and look worse.

If it's near an edge you can take a credit card, wrap the edge with tape so it doesn't scratch the film, and try to squeegee the bubble out.
If you have to release the bubble, don't use a pin, too big and not sharp enough. Can you get a small gauge hypodermic needle? Something like an insulin needle will barely mark the surface.

I haven't got to it yet but the help is appreciated. It's not near the edge, a couple of inches down from the hood lip. No access to a hypo and I believe it already has a hole since I think the car wash actually punctured the plastic causing the bubble in the first place. So far I'm thinking I'll try a hair dryer....
