Phil, yes you can do that as long as you............ put a bandanna over your hair, part your beard in the middle and tie the two ends of the beard with a rubber band, and wear some old blue jeans and a shirt with the sleeves cut off.... yes, you can do this!
Damn, I wish I could find that picture of you that Wayne posted a while back. I could photo shop it to show you how ridicul.... er, cool you would look!
Tim, that's my current look. Are you suggesting something new?
BTW, what's that on top of my head - it looks like a muskrat or a very bad hairpiece.
Give it a try. I have been riding this 2005 BMW R1200RT for the past 3 years (2 trips to Cali, once to Denver, once to Sipapu, NM and once to Branson, MO from San Antonio). Heading for Newfoundland next year. BTW - I'm 56 and the Honda is my other bike.
Absolutely gorgeous bikes. Not ready for either of those (yet) but I'll let everyone know if I go for a bike, and if so, which one.

Macster, the Porsche was not being used enough to keep it. I don't see a motorcycle as a replacement for the Porsche, just a toy I've been wanting for a while. Not doing anything yet other than taking the course - then I'll make a decision.
Phil,
What? you want to live forever?? DO IT!!
I have been riding for 35 years, currently 1998 BMW R1100RT.
Look at the Suzuki SV650. It is a relatively small, agile “standard” that you won't grow out of it as soon as you start to ride.
