Now where's that manual... top is stuck.
My top is stuck in the down position.
Don't think it's a fuse... I do have the smart top so I want to disconect it and see if that's the problem.
But... how the heck do I manually put the top up?
Anyone with a link to the manual?
Thanks!
Rob

This happened to me too. I also have smart top. I just kept trying to press the convertible button and eventually it worked. I think I also turned the car off a few times too. It only happned once.

Try the Porsche equivalent of ctrl-alt-delete -- i.e. disconnect the battery, wait a few minutes, and reconnect it. I have no idea if it will work, but it might.

When I manually pulled to rear latch open I then tried the switch and the top went up and latched, but the rear compartment didn't go back into place and I had to manually crank it back down.
It's going to rain tomorrow, but be really nice all day Sunday, so I'm going to try a few things on Sunday including disconnecting the SmartTop temporarily to see if that has any effect.

I do suggest getting codes read first. Calibration requires PST2 or PIWIS. It is possible the SmartTop came loose, so reinstalling it might help...you will probable need to do a soft reset after re-install (battery disconnect). So here are the other possibilities:
hydraulic fluid
control unit (or not)
latching mechanism (I doubt it)
other miscellaneous post with lots of links....from yours truly
The last thing I remember is can you observe whether the side flaps move?
