Very nice, much better CG than over the radio!
This should have been the factory setup ..

I too love this idea but can see the intelligence of leaving it out since the shifting arm is right in the way. This is a Porsche afterall and sometimes, no matter how well intentioned our thoughts of not speeding where ever we might be headed, some incident arises that merits a throw down into 2nd and gunning it, and then 3rd, and then, oops, my drink just went all over the place.

Can a wet vac be integrated into the back seat area that I hardly ever use?

You have a valid point, my996a

It's been a while since I lived in Germany, but I believe the TÜV didn't allow cup-holders (in the past) for safety reasons.
No eating and drinking while driving was the rule. The US market changed all that ..

Instead of two smaller cup holders, can you make one very large cup holder? I'm a malt liquor kind of guy, and well, it's tough to find a good cup holder for a 40 oz bottle. I can send you a St. Ides if you need a mold.

Fantastic idea!!
I have the optional premium sound. So I can't install dash model. I purchased the air vent "mickey mouse" one. I do not like it, so I took it off.
It would be great to have a place to put a cup of coffee as your driving down the freeway in the morning! Great work, I think I may have to bite the bullet, and get one too.

how about one with a big non smoker tray and no cup olders, my current tray doesnt fit much at all, surely i'm not the only one that would rather have a good sized tray to fit phone etc and maybe relocate window switches to where the heated seat switches go

Can I get one that holds one condom - that's all I really need - if I wasnt a porch sitter I suppose I could use 2 ........

oh - and a paddle ball.. I really like those

and maybe a pack of that neat new gum that makes you feel like 5000 hair dryers are making you float.

thats all

well, maybe a pen holder too, but that's it for sure

of coarse... if I had a spot for a couple golf tees.... never seem to have enough of those little buggers

but that's it!!!

OH OH OH - do you think you could make my helmet fit in there... I know it's asking a lot

seriously, nice work, looks great - just having a spot of fun

Great idea. Looks fantastic! I got pull out holders, but if I didn't, I would get one. Good luck with your projects.

Default So you still make these cup holders?

So one day I started hacking a console up and this is what I came up with (patent pending). I have enough consoles to make at least 10 more, but wanted to see what kind of interest there is out there for this. It works very well and fits 20oz bottles. Feedback welcome.
Thanks

I know this is a very old thread but do you happen to still make these? I’m constantly annoyed that I ha e no cup holders in the console and this is the absolute best fix I’ve seen.

Being 10 years old, I would say no... PM him directly, if he is still active.

I hate the tiny cup holders over my radio. My car is in the shop right now. It was wrecked before I even took delivery (long story) but I will want one of these since mine will be a daily.
