Default New SSR GT-3 Wheels

I've decided to change up my wheels again. Seems to have become somewhat of an annual ritual. I guess it's an easy way to get a different look from my car each spring. Well, let me know what you think.

The SSRs are new, the DPEs were new from last fall... I may sell the DPEs, but have not yet decided.

UPDATE 8/23/09:

DPEs are up for sale.

You are making Imelda Marcos jealous! Both sets of wheels are nice, but I like the 2nd set better.

Well maybe not as bad as Imelda Marcos, I don't hoard them in the garage while my kids starve... hmmm, at least I think the're not hungry??

Eventually I will sell whatever ones I don't keep.

My car has the M030 sport suspension package, which I believe lowers it a tad. The DPEs seem to give the car a more "classy" look, while the SSRs look "sportier". The DPEs are also slightly lighter in that they are 100% forged (20lbs F, 22lbs R). The SSRs are semi-forged, but still relatively light (22 F, 23.5 R). Both are 18s. The car came with 19" Champion RG5s, but I just thought they looked TOO BIG, so I reverted back to 18s.

Note the Kicker skate ramp in the back. It's attached to a quarter pipe on the other end (28 ft total)... my kids have their toys too!

I'm partial to SSR's too...have em on my Boxster, but in the gunmetal grey center versions. But, in your pics, I agree with most here, and think the DPE's look better on your car. Maybe cause it looks like the SSR's need spacers.

Well they both look great.

Maybe the DPE's have a little different offset, they appear to fit more flush in the rear?

#2 -

The boxster looks nice with the other ones though -

It's only a one year commitment, so even if you are "wrong" in a year it wont matter

Agree with others on DPE's, better offsets and fit... Cheers,
