Thanks guys!

Well atrer she hit me she said "did I hit you? I thought I hit a curb"
Insurance claim against her started, and I had a bit of a headache and sore neck so I went in to have the dr check. He thought I was a ok, gave me some pain pills? ( I will link the F/S ad here, hahahaha j/k)
A better look at the car will have to be done, I am mainly concerned about how it drives and if I end up missing any days use at the cone avoidence challenge
I just want it to be as dialed in as it was and the good news is I know exactly where the alignment was less than 2 weeks ago. Any issues there should have a number that tells exactly how much it moved if any.

Thanks for the warm wishes, sure sucks today, hope it gets better.

Sorry to learn of your little run-in. I hate parking lots. Out here in suburban cowboy land it seems that all the "real men" drive dually pickups and theirs S/Os drive Escalades.

The one thing that I noticed is that the top of my car is lower than their tailgates. When I'm in a parking lot, I try to pay special attention to those white backup lights. I figure that half of them ain't gonna look, and the half that do will never see me anyway.

So far, I've been lucky...but I have this feeling that my time's about up.

Hope you get your ride sorted out to your liking.

Ed, you just hit my worst nightmare. Don nailed it - be paranoid about reversing lights. The parking lot at my gym is a total nightmare - cars coming in at high speed with people talking on the phone and people reversing out without paying attention. I've almost been hit several times.

Clueless idiots.

Bummer man - it will be fine in a jiff. Almost as bad as parking at the Metro here. I think people beat the crap out of cars for the heck of it. Someday I'll take a few days off and park the car and set up a deer camera and see what's really going on.

Exactly. Unfortunately.

That's a drag, hope she comes back good as new. I'm sure the insurance company doesn't want to do anything....

sorry to hear. sucks big time...

hope the ins co does the right thing and not quibble over having car repaired correctly by a quality shop. i had a similar situation occur with my wife's bimmer by a NYS gov vehicle few years back and was very surprised by how smooth the whole process was. prob cost $4k and they or their insurer just ponied up.

good luck.

It will be just fine and better than new - just a hassle that's all

I'm more concerned about these 996 engine issues - disappointed with 'Porsche design' for once...

As others have said...be sure your shop checks for hidden damage in addition to the obvious panel damage.GL Ed

I'm sorry to hear about your bad day Ed. Take it to the best Porsche body repair specialist you can. As stated previously, make sure they do a thorough check for any unseen damage underneath as those panels don't look correctly aligned now.

Reading this couldn't come at a worse time as it's the first time I drove my car to work in the last few weeks. Doh! I'm tempted to just skip lunch now.

Hopefully, she'll be as good as new.
