Default FS: 2001 C4 - SOLD

thanks to all who were kind enough to respond to the posts ive made.... ive learned so much about 996 here and loved every minute of owning my 996 and being part of this community.... but its time to move on.

cpo 996 c4 bought from stoddard porsche with 35k miles in 5/06. i am the the third owner. ive had no issues with the car. within a month of purchase, rms was done along with the clutch. also in 06, control arm, horn and o2 sensor were replaced under cpo. i replaced light switch 6mos ago. ive had no other
repairs done within or outside of cpo.

42k miles - i do not drive it enough. id like to see her go to a fellow rennlister
coupe, arctic silver, black interior, porsche ssk, litronics, garage door opener mod, 3 spoke steering wheel, 18in turbo twists, conti sportcontact2 with 7k miles, upgraded shift ****, otherwise bone stock.

$26,000

thanks ivangene... i know it aint the best time to sell and good thing i dont have to sell. with a 2 car garage, my dd is parked in the driveway and im just tired of scraping off ice and snow.

if it dont sell, i keep it. fortunately i can afford to.

i tried uploading pics here but i get this odd message saying "sec token missing"??? i followed tim's directions... so i know i did it right.

my neighbor showed up Saturday with a 99' C2 that he just bought for his nephew. Drove it up from Oregon and the kid (23 y/o) will drive it back to Cali. He paid $23k for it.... bone stock 70k miles. (has issues too - looks re-painted in a couple spots, missing a couple pieces of body trim, scrated, several what I would call big dents, and not a single upgrade) - I was nice and didnt point any of those out to him.....

So they are selling........ and yours is a far cry more car than that of about the same money. I think you have a good shot at it.

thanks redridge for uploading the pics!

i took pics for a guy who was interested and the second one(interior shot) looks crappy... i have yet to clean up the car and all the crap shows when its blown up so big! i figure i will continue to drive on weekends and will really clean it up for the first in-person showing...

but the car is clean both inside and out... she really is! honest.

i delivered my car to seller yest.... def a sad day. really really wished i had a 3car garage to make keeping her more viable and less of a pain with my dd. but life goes on. i know i did the right thing by passing it on to a person who will hopefully drive the car.

thanks again to all who've offered me advice, diagnosis, instruction over the 3+ very enjoyable years of 996 ownership. be well and good luck to all you rennlisters.
