Uneven wear on rear tire normal?

Right Rear is the Drive Wheel
The right rear normally wears faster as it is the drive wheel and our cars don't have limited slip so Frankfast has it right. Even with a perfect alignment, the negative rear camber puts more pressure on the inside of the wheel and causes it to wear faster.
Due to a premature puncture, I have changed a partially worn right rear with a new tire and it then wore out at essentially the same time as the left. One suggestion is that after you get new tires, you can ask your alignment shop to reduce your negative camber in the rear to the minimal range of the spec. This will improve your tire wear pattern and I really doubt you'll be able to tell the difference on the street. I know I couldn't...

+1 on all the camber talk.
The only way to even it out is to have the tires taken off and remounted every 5K-10K miles (depending on wear).
In my C4 though, I notice one of my rear tires is more worn than the other....wonder why..maybe I take more left turns than right or something :P.

It probably has more to do with incorrect toe setting than too much negative camber. As others have said an alignment should solve it. I have 1.5 negative camber in the rear of my car and tire wear is fine but I have the toe basically set at zero .. (just a hair of toe in)

Sure makes tire changes a bit more difficult. Maybe I need to replace just the right rear soon and then replace the whole set a bit later...Timing should be just right, 'eh Tonger?!
I'm looking to move away from my Proxes T1Rs and get into PS2s; guess I'll have to buy another Proxes first, tho'

The PS2's are non directional asymmetrical tires, which means that they have an inside and an outside tread design. You can rotate the wheel and tire from left to right and right to left, but you should not remount the tires on the wheels so the outside of the tire is on the inside of the wheel.
