^ That is hilarious! I didn't know about the actual rain, but I just KNEW that checking the weather to rain had to my in the routine.

That's the sad thing - the roads were dry and there was no rain in the forecast until the evening... oh, at least 12 hours away from the time that he was checking out the weather reports!

It's amazing that he ever drives the car if he's worrying about rain that far in advance of a 2 mile drive.

Hey, what do you think of these tips? Fabspeed is going to start selling them for the 996 next month - satin black quad tips. This photo was taken of a 997S that had them.

I really like those tips! Get them!

While you are in a "modding" mood, call Eric and order some Painted Bumperettes! NO, I have not given up on that one!

I have a mind like a steel trap.... nothing gets in and nothing gets out!

I saw them at the Fabspeed booth in Hershey. Can someone photochop those tips on a 996?

Wayne, those tips in the pic look awfully shiny for satin black, I like the look but there is no way on earth those are worth $450!

Phil, I'm just glad the Porsche got to stretch its legs a little, rain or shine!

Those are the chrome tips - Fabspeed is going to have them available in black satin, which is what Wayne wants.

Yeah, must have gotten the Porsche up to 35 MPH or so, and damned if I didn't hit 3000 RPM. Very exhausting morning.

Wayne it was a pleasure meeting you and your son this weekend at the show. Your son was very enthusiastic towards the blue Murci, I wish I had the camera at the time he was laying on the ground underneath the car checking out the exhaust work We had a great turnout and we thank everyone for joining Fabspeed for our "Cars and Coffee" event. Here are some more pictures for those who weren't able to attend:

Beautiful pics Jay - sorry I missed most of the show - hopefully another opportunity this summer! The blue Murcielago is downright scary.

Jay - it was great to meet you also. You managed to pull together a great collection of cars!

So tell me about those tips - cost? How durable is the finish?

It's O.K. because we are having another "Cars and Coffee" event July 18th. Wayne the satin-black quad tips will be available for your 996 within a month. We've had the satin black tips installed on our F360 for about two years with no discoloration or chipping.

Same location as last week's event? Any possibility of reserving Temple Ambler again? It's a terrific wide open space.

What price are you going to put on them and does the finish hold up to metal polish without degradation?

Wayne,

You need to go over to Phil's house ASAP and check on him. He is acting like he is going to go the the "Coffee and Cars" meet two times within 5 weeks. There must be some sort of crisis at his house, or maybe he is delusional. Please check on him. I am very concerned!
