Looks great. But with the price of early 997's these days it seems like you could get one for less than upgrading a 996, at least the exterior.

Simply stunning, but I do agree that the air intake does draw the eye in a bad way. Just send it my way and I'll have that taken care of in a couple hours.

It predict that it will be 'no bid.' It's real market price is about $35k. Most people these days just don't want a modified car that attempts to be something that it's not. Of course, you might find that one-off baseball player who sees it and likes green.

The ad fails to mention the work they went through to fit the 997-style exterior door handles.

Guys,--I'm simply going by history. I've been driving Porsches since the 1970s and trust me, most used Porsche buyers don't want a modified car. They want a straight car that hasn't been messed with. You simply never get even 10% back out of everything you put into a Porsche as 'non factory' mods. Do you really think that all these Porsche modifiers know more about an integrated Porsche car than Zuffenhausen?

I-forged, there are a lot of modified 996 turbos out there...your's is in a different league. Your's looks incredible and has the performance to back up the looks. As a confirmed mod-aholic, I really enjoyed watching your project develop. Thanks for sharing. 61k and climbing...I have no doubt you will meet your reserve. I wish that I was bidding. Good luck.

^^^ +1 on Mark's comments. This is not a Porsche for "most buyers". This is a uniquely modded Porsche for a certain group of buyers. You cannot really put a price on something like this, a good deal to each and every individual is viewed differently. It depends on how much you like it, and how much you want it. If I was selling it, I'd aim high initially. No bites...I'd adjust accordingly.

Good Luck to you, Vincent!
