The drone is a bit much, but does calm down after warming up the car. Starting the car up cold is impressive. The sound while accelerating is very nice.

I have had mine for @ 6 months now. It is nice shedding those two heavy mufflers: I took them off and installed my Fabspeed muffler delete pipes so I know how much weight those mufflers represent.

When I get a chance to I am going to ship my mufflers to be converted by FisterD then reinstall the mufflers.

I'll post up a video in a little bit of my car. 997S X51 headers, Fabspeed GT3 Cat Bypass Pipes, Fabspeed GT3 Muffler Bypass Pipes. Just firing it up cold and letting it idle to let you see what it sounds like.

IMHO, it is LOUD and only for the track. In fact if the DB meter was in use this past weekend I was told I would have failed. I will be going back to just the Cat Bypass pipes and Fabspeed Mufflers and use that 100% during track season. This setup is pretty quiet at idle and when just cruising around but the volume does go up nicely with more throttle and rpms.

The full bypass scenario definitely gives the car some more pull at the top end based on my lap times and top speeds but the early morning noise when I fire it up is too much when I leave for a track day. Now if I was towing it would be a different story.

Other benefit to full bypass is lower engine bay temps (something I monitor closely at the track). The cats and mufflers are huge heat sinks that retain and put off a lot of extra heat.

Whatever you are doing right now is not as important as recording a full throttle take-off of your car.

Well considering there are ebay ones for 140 (that are axactly the same as fabspeed), I thought 100 was a fair asking price.
Plus, if you have no use for them, you might as well sell them.

But if you really paid 600 form fabspeed, I can understand where you are coming from.

the ones on ebay are fairly well made. I bought a set they used for the video sound bytes and they sold them for a bit less then thier regular price. That said, they are not Fabspeed.

a low price for real fabspeed USED pipes is 2-3x what they charge for new.....

Next time just say "muffler by-pass pipes" and leave out the "brand names"
GL w/ oyur search
BTW if you want to "TRY" this before you buy it, there is a really cheap ($20) autozone part that will work for the trial to see if you want to go ahead and buy them. (in my case, I removed them after about a week)

Hahaha, you have got to be kidding. This sounds like the sort of thing I need to buy on the way home and install overnight just to scare the hell out of the wife.

The cheapest I have seen knockoffs (read NOT same) as the Fabspeed ones are $170. And understand they are NOT Fabspeed units, so NO they are not EXACTLY the same. You really should do some research before you start making those claims. Material, bends, diameter, length, etc, are all crucial.

A quick check of the Fabspeed website and you would see what they cost.
