Default May as well show you mine too.

I joined this site when I owned a Boxster, two days ago I picked up a 2002 Targa.
Here are some pics, It has 31,000 miles, 6-speed, heated seats etc. I really don't know what options were available. I just don't understand, expensive car, terrible sound system. I t has been lowered and has some type of aftermarket exhaust. Its not loud but sounds pretty nice. My Corvette is for sale on consignment.

I have a supercharger kit but cant decide if I want to go that route again. Supercharged my Boxster, took my 40 hours. Big guy+little spaces=lots of pain.

Looks nice... I have always liked Targas...

With an aftermarket exhaust, what's the need for a good stereo? You've got a built-in sound system behind the seats...

If you really want to upgrade it though, there are lots of options for the 2002 model year, because they were still copper wires, not the MOST system.

I don't understand, you mean stereo? Would like to keep the factory look and maybe find a way to plug my I-phone to it.

Welcome to the 996 Forum and congrats on getting the Targa. Nice looking!

Your car has xenon lights. I can tell because you have the chrome headlight washer disk on your headlights. Look under the trunk lid for a white option codes sticker. If it is not there, check the inside front cover of your maintenance manual or owner's manual. If you post the option codes here we can tell you what they mean.

Congratulations. Love the color and the matching belts.

Is that your Corvette in the background? Isn't the blue one with the white down the center, diagonal stripes on the fender and black wheels a pretty sought after model?

Welcome to 996 country - great looking car!

I'm messing with my sound system too... six new speakers to install, plus the iPorsche iPod kit - probably this weekend... on the other hand, as I was driving in I realized the sound system in our cars is mounted just behind the rear wheels... no other car has a sweeter engine note...
